Beautifully carved massive, large yellow marble panel comprised of 11 pieces which attaches to a masonry wall in a vertical, partially cantilevered fashion, like a bay window. Was originally mounted at the entrance to a palace (haveli) in Jaisalmer, India, probably with a water feature at its base. Suitable for use in a lobby, atrium, garden or by a pool. A museum quality piece which dates from early to mid 19th century.
